GRAP-3 restrictions removed from Delhi-NCR!

In view of the improvement in air quality, the third phase of GRAP has been removed from Delhi-NCR. This information was given in the official order issued on friday (27 December). GRAP-1 and GRAP-2 will remain in force for the time being. Due to the rain in the capital delhi, the air quality has improved.

Rain forecast in delhi for the next two days

Let us tell you that 'Orange Alert' is in force in Delhi. Traffic was affected in many areas due to rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain for the day. Due to the rain, traffic was affected in many areas of South, Central and North Delhi. The Meteorological Department said that rain started in Delhi-NCR (National capital Region) at around 2.30 am.

How much rain where?

According to data released by the india Meteorological Department (IMD) till 11.30 am, the observatory at Safdarjung, the primary weather station of the national capital, recorded 9.1 millimetres (mm) of rain. Palam Observatory recorded 8.4 mm, Lodhi Road 10.8 mm, Ridge 9 mm, delhi University 11 mm and Pusa 9.5 mm of rain.

Weather department officials said that due to active western disturbance and its interaction with eastern winds, light to moderate rain and thundershowers occurred in delhi, National capital Region (NCR), North-West and Central India. The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, which was 2.8 degrees above normal. According to data from the central pollution control board (CPCB), the air quality at 9 am was recorded in the 'very poor' category with 372. The 24-hour air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 345 at 4 pm on Thursday. AQI is considered 'good' between zero to 50, 'satisfactory' between 51 to 100, 'moderate' between 101 to 200, 'poor' between 201 to 300, 'very poor' between 301 to 400, and 'severe' between 401 to 500.
