The picture of Delhi's yamuna river is going to change. Actually, on tuesday (March 11), an important MoU was signed to start cruise service in Yamuna. delhi government has claimed that in the coming six months, people of delhi will be able to travel by cruise in Yamuna. On this occasion, Lieutenant governor V.K. Saxena said, "Concrete steps are being taken to make yamuna clean and neat. It is not just a river, but our cultural heritage. It is the responsibility of all of us to preserve it."

Political rhetoric also intensifies on MoU

At the same time, political rhetoric was also seen by the ministers of delhi government and central government regarding this project. lg V.K. Saxena, while targeting the previous aam aadmi party government, said, "Work was being done on this project for the last one year, but it was stopped due to political reasons. Now the people of delhi have changed and have also expressed their feelings towards Yamuna. This is just a beginning, more new schemes will be brought in the coming days."

On the other hand, delhi Chief minister Rekha Gupta thanked prime minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant governor V.K. Saxena on this occasion. She said, "Delhi is now seeing the benefits of the double engine government. The previous government tried to stop the pace of development, but now a new chapter of delhi has begun."

'Tourism will increase in delhi with cruise service'

delhi government minister Pravesh Verma and delhi government minister Kapil Mishra also described this scheme as a big tourism attraction for Delhi. Kapil Mishra said, "In six months, people of delhi will travel on a cruise. Soon a grand aarti will also be organized on the banks of Yamuna."

The campaign to clean the yamuna will be accelerated

The government assured that the work of cleaning the yamuna will not stop now. Work will be done on it daily so that the river can be made pollution free.
