China's tension will increase India successfully tested new missile!
On July 16, the indian army successfully shot down two high-speed unmanned aerial targets in Ladakh. The test took place in a high altitude area near the Line of Actual Control (LAC), where akash Prime hit its target with great accuracy.
According to the Ministry of Defense, akash Prime has been adapted to work in high altitude areas and has a state-of-the-art indigenous radio frequency seeker installed in it. Based on the feedback received from the army, many improvements have been made in it, which has increased its firepower and accuracy. This reflects the success of the self-reliant ecosystem of defense systems made in the country.
Defense minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated the indian army, DRDO and all the partners associated with the defense industry on this success. He said that this test will strengthen India's air defense capability especially in high altitude areas.
According to the Ministry of Defense, this test was done under the first production model of akash Prime. With its success, the way has been cleared to include it in the army soon. This will make air security more strong on India's high mountain data-borders. This historic test has not only proved India's technological self-reliance but has also shown that india is now fully capable of providing effective air defence even in inaccessible high altitude areas.
