Overview


Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a special health camp at Vidhan Bhavan ahead of the state Budget Session.


The initiative is aimed at ensuring easy access to medical care for legislators during the demanding assembly schedule.


The camp is organised by the state health and Medical education Department.


It will remain operational throughout the Budget Session period.



Who the Camp Serves


The facility is set up for members of both the Legislative assembly and the Legislative Council.


Ministers, presiding officers, and senior legislators are eligible for on-site medical check-ups.


Staff and officials present in the Vidhan Bhavan complex can also benefit from basic consultations.


The goal is to reduce the need for lawmakers to leave the premises for routine health checks.



Medical Team & Services


Doctors from king George’s Medical university (KGMU) are leading the medical examinations.


Support is also provided by medical experts from Sanjay gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences.


Services include routine screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar tests.


General health assessments and basic consultations are being offered.


Quick preventive check-ups are prioritized over long procedures.

The camp is designed to support legislators during long sittings and tight working schedules.
