Sangeet Som Addresses Kapsad Case and holi Milan Preparations in Meerut

In Meerut, former mla Sangeet Som addressed party workers during a meeting in Sardhana regarding preparations for the upcoming holi Milan celebration.

Referring to the recent Kapsad incident involving the murder of a woman, Som stated that his party stood firmly with the victim’s family and worked to ensure justice.

He emphadata-sized that the case should not be politicized along caste or community lines.

According to him, the incident demonstrated that his party does not engage in caste-based politics but focuses on lawful action and support for victims.

Criticism of Samajwadi Party

Sangeet Som directly criticized the Samajwadi party, accusing it of attempting to portray the Kapsad murder as a caste-driven issue.

He alleged that opposition parties often organize protests and mobilize support by emphasizing caste divisions.

Som claimed that such strategies are meant to create social tension rather than deliver justice.

In contrast, he asserted that his party works for all communities and does not discriminate on the basis of caste or religion.

Holi Milan Celebration Preparations

The meeting primarily focused on organizing the holi Milan event scheduled for march 1.

Som announced that invitations would be sent to nearly 80,000 people across the Sardhana assembly constituency.

He described the celebration as an opportunity to promote unity and social harmony.

Party leaders and workers were asked to ensure smooth coordination and maximum participation in the large-scale event.

Focus on Development and Upcoming Elections

Speaking about future assembly elections, Som said they would be contested on the basis of development work rather than caste equations.

He highlighted infrastructure and educational initiatives undertaken in the constituency.

Special mention was made of the Major Dhyan Chand State sports university being developed in Salawa village of Sardhana.

According to him, the university will significantly boost opportunities in both education and sports for local youth.

Other Leaders Share Views

Former mla Harpal saini also addressed the gathering.

He echoed similar sentiments about unity, development, and organizational strength ahead of upcoming political challenges.

The meeting concluded with party members reaffirming their commitment to justice, development, and social harmony in the region.
