free or cashless treatment at empaneled hospitals. Losing your card does
not stop you from availing benefits if you follow the correct steps.
1. Check Your Eligibility FirstEven without a physical card, you can access Ayushman benefits if:
- You are listed in the National health Authority (NHA) database.
- You have your mobile number or any government ID linked with the Ayushman card.
Your treatment eligibility is verified digitally at the hospital.

new card by post.It usually takes
7–10 days for the duplicate card to arrive.
4. Hospital Verification Without Card- At empaneled hospitals, staff can verify your details using:
- Name + mobile number
- Government ID linked with Ayushman database
- Once verified, you can receive free or cashless treatment immediately.
Physical card is
not mandatory for treatment.
5. Keep Your Details Safe- Always keep a soft copy (photo or PDF) of your Ayushman Card on your phone.
- Update your mobile number in the NHA database to receive SMS verification during hospital visits.
6. Report Lost Card (Optional)- Reporting a lost card helps avoid misuse.
