Under the PM‑Kisan Samman nidhi scheme, farmers across india receive 6,000 per year in direct financial support, paid in three installments via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

✔️ According to recent government data for the financial year 2024–25, Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of farmers receiving PM‑Kisan payments — with over 2.44 crore eligible farmer beneficiaries, and nearly 2.39 crore of them successfully receiving funds under the scheme. This made Uttar Pradesh the top state in terms of total funds transferred to farmers under PM‑Kisan that year.

👉 States following Uttar Pradesh in fund distribution included Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan based on the number of farmers and amounts received.
