Is Cold War turning hot in Anantapur? Seems so and even ruling TDP leaders confess in private that cold war between Anantapur MLA Prabhakar Chowdhary and MP JC Diwakar Reddy turned serious and it reached new height with road widening works in the city.

It is common that leaders of ruling party have some differences between them. But it is dangerous if they cross the limits. Now Antapur MLA Prabhakar Chowdhary and MP JC.Diwakar Reddy's war is reaching dangerous propositions and both reached point of no return with their headstrong attitude.MP Diwakar Reddy is keen to demolish buildings on both sides of Tilakroad and Gandhi Bazar road and widen the road to solve traffic problem. He even got the permission from AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and sanctioned 80crs for the works.

CM Chandra Babu announced the same during his visit to the city. However Prabhakar Chowdhary before the elections promised that the road willnot be widened and promised the same to Tiklak road and Gandhi Bazar residents. MLA along with other leaders and businessmen submitted letters. But with nothing coming out, Prabhakar Chowdhary is now threatening to resign as MLA.JC.Diwakar Reddy however says road widening helps in development and Tadiparti became municipality due to road widening.People protested when corporation officials came to take measurements.

Now both factions decided to take the issue to CM Chandra Babu. Some say both leaders going to this extent is not good for the party.
