TRS ready for by polls
Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is riding on cloud nine after a series of electoral victories. The recently concluded GHMC polls also proved that the party is on a high note. About 12 legislators switched over from TDP, Congress and YSR Congress to TRS since June'14.
Now TRS is ready for by polls in their respective assembly constituencies. TRS is keen to ride on the winning streak. G.Sayanna who is an MLA from Secunderabad said, "I think this is the right time to go for by polls. We are sure of winning the elections. The victory will give us the legit rights as members of assembly representing the ruling party."
He also said that the rumours which are prevailing around that K.Chandrasekar Rao favouring by polls is true. Lots of resignations are still pending with Speaker Madhusudanachari. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Teegala Krishna Reddy, Ch Dharma Reddy, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy (all TDP), K Yadaiah,
D.S.Reddya Naik, K Kanakaiah, G Vittal Reddy (all Congress), Thati Venkateswarulu, and Madanlal (YSR Congress) resignations are still pending. As per rules, by poll must take place within 6 months of resignation of MLA.
