The Pattiseema Lift Irrigation project is provided to Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd., The company finally quoted a sum of Rs.1300 Crores for the project and it is 21% higher than the actual cost.
Andhra Pradesh Government has also came out with specific set of instructions to give them 5% extra as incentive as they were asked to complete the project at the earliest. Now this will cost Rs.260 Crores. So this makes Chandrababu Naidu as a hard person to read.
You purchase something worth for Rs.100 for Rs.121, and still why do you have to pay Rs.5 extra for the sake of timely delivery ? Is that not implicit in the agreement? This is not a good sign for a responsible administrator.
Now the matter has went to high court and they have demanded the Government to submit a valid explanation regarding this project. Meanwhile Chandrababu Naidu ensures that this news reaches all people that the project has been approved.
