Indian Priest found missing

An Indian based Catholic Priest was found missing since last Friday on a care home in Aden, Yemen, who were under the control of the assailants. An Indian nun was assassinated in the strike on the Missionaries of Charity run Organization and another was found missing.


The External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has declared that on Saturday that a Father was abducted, who resided at the home was the native of Kerala. He has reached the home from the unsafe place of Yemen. Sushma Swaraj has said in her Twitter Page that her officials are searching the Father Tom Uzhunnalil
Sushma Swaraj has said that they have closed the mission after protecting the citizens previous year itself.

Reportedly it was said that the 56 year old priest was taken to an unknown place. Swaraj has promised that the Central Government will do its best and the Kerala CM has quoted that Swaraj has mentioned that a nurse was also found missing at the same time.


The Kerala CM Oommen Chandy has expressed that there is no news about the Priests’s whereabouts. The Yemen authorities have said that they are aware that no gang has made the attack but the news was pointed as Daesh who is the Arabic acronym for IS.
