GOOD OR BAD : Smriti Irani sacked from Union HRD Ministry
Sources have stated that as a first major cabinet reshuffle in PM Narendra Modi's government, Smriti Irani is dropped as the Minister of Human Resource Department and Smriti has been moved to Textiles Ministry.
Meanwhile it was stated that Prakash Javadekar who was I&B Minister has currently been promoted to Cabinet minister in the expansion and he was given the opportunity to helm HRD Ministry presently.
It is also added that the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu was given charge of I&B Ministry as he himself being a good orator and also added that he has well understanding on media functioning and Ravi Shankar Prasad has replaced Sadananda Gowda as Union Law Minister.
Sources have also stated that Vijay Goel has got Sports Ministry where Modi has inducted 19 new ministers into his Cabinet in the Cabinet reshuffle which was made on Tuesday and he has also carried out major changes in the portfolios of his top ministers too.
