Is Modi turning the exorcist?
PM Modi is growing in strength with each passing second and opposition parties are at their wits end on how to data-face his power. Stage is set for the elections in the five states across the country which is touted as semi final before the 2019 elections.
In the meantime focus is shifted to Tamil Nadu where sudden power struggle started between former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikala and her trusted lieutenant O.Pannerselvam. While Panneerselavam ruled the state till now after the tragic demise of Jayalalithaa, Sasikalaa decided to take over the mantle.
This resulted in open rebellion with Panneerselvam claiming that Jayalalithaa's soul guided him in all his decisions and is against Sasikalaa taking over. TN governor Vidyasagar Rao stayed away from Chennai and is delaying the decision increasing the political uncertainity.
Sources say Union Government led by PM Modi is against Sasikalaa and so delaying the decision as Supreme Court is all set to hear her corruption cases this weekend. In the meantime maverick director Ram Gopal Varma known for his witty tweets came with a tweet questioning whether PM Modi will be the exorcist now.
He posted "Happenings in TN seem like a political Horror film with OPS claiming Jayalalitha's ghost told him to be CM..Will Modi be the exorcist now?"
