The war for Tamilnadu throne between OPS and Sasikala has intensified with the entry of incharge governor Mr.Vidya Sagar Rao. Now it has taken a ugly turn after Sasikala had sent the MLA's to a secret location which is said to be a resort.
Some voices are out that the MLA's have been kidnapped by
Sasikala. The MLA's were finally put in a posh Golden Bay resorts on the East
Coast Road. The MLA's were put under strict surveilliance. The resort was cordoned
of with private security and the resort
staff. The MLA's mobile phones were snatched and were not allowed to speak to
anyone. MLA's hve been denied access to News papers also.
While the resort normally only has security at the entrance,
there is now perimeter security as well to ensure the MLAs don't manage to
scale the wall and escape. A security cordon also extends to about 1 km away
from the resort, barring journalists and TV crews from reaching there. Apart
from mobile jammers and the WiFi being turned off, landed internet/Ethernet
wires have also been deactivated.
The MLAs are also being told that their families have been informed about their well-being and that they are being supportive of this move for their own safety. Hotel staff have been tasked to patrol the corridors periodically to keep an eye on the MLAs, and this has sometimes led to quarrels. Some MLAs have questioned and fought with the staff, asking why they are roaming outside the MLAs' rooms.
