Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is known for his sensational and controversial statements. Everyone got a huge shock and entire opposition attacked PM Modi and BJP for selecting Yogi Adityanath as CM of the state after sweeping the elections.

Many expected him to tone down his controversial statements but he stunned all with his decisions on Gaurakshaks, Ram Temple, Triple Talaq and Anti Romeo Squads. Now speaking about Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, he came with the most controversial statements.

Singing praises of RSS he said "Agar RSS aur Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee na hote to West Bengal, Punjab aur Kashmir. Pakistan ke kabje mei hote (Had RSS and Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee not been there, West Bengal, Punjab and Kashmir would have been under control of Pakistan)," . He added  “RSS is the only organisation, which does not take any help from the government,”

Yogi said “Some even try to link the National Song with communalism but if RSS was not there, then people would have forgotten to sing Vande Mataram in schools,”
