BIG BREAKING: #earthquake hits Himalayan region of Uttarakhand - Tremors felt in New Delhi

A magnitude of 5.5 Earthquake has struck the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand and the tremors were felt in New Delhi. As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), this earthquake is a moderate one and it started in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand.

It should be noted that Uttarakhand already falls under High Seismic Zone. Also, as per reports, there was no immediate loss of life or property. However, People have come down to the streets and there was chaos among the people. Stay tuned for more updates.
