Items getting Costlier & Cheaper as per Budget 2018!!!
According to sources from New Delhi Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, on Thursday, tabled the Union Budget 2018 in the Parliament. Meanwhile the much anticipated Budget speech after the announcement of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in 2017 could pinch wallets of common men if they had planned to purchase mobile phones or television sets after the Budget.
Accordingly the pre-shave, shaving or after shave
preparations, personal deodorants, bath preparations, depilatories and other
perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations, not elsewhere specified or
included, raised by 20% from 10%. Mobile phones raised by 20% from 15%.
LCD/LED/OLED panels and other parts of LCD/LED/OLED TVs increased to 15%
from 7.5% or 10%.
Cooking range of oils like crude edible vegetable
oils like Ground nut oil, Olive oil, Cotton seed oil, Safflower seed oil, Saffola
oil, Coconut oil, Palm Kernel/Babassu oil, Linseed oil, Maize corn oil, Castor
oil, Sesame oil, other fixed vegetable fats and oils increased to 30% from
12.5%.
Things which are getting cheaper are other articles
of stone containing magnesite, dolomite or chromite decreases to 7.5% from
10%. Bricks, blocks, tiles and other ceramic goods of siliceous fossil meals or
of similar siliceous earth’s decreases from 10% to 7.5%. Motor spirit commonly
known as petrol decreases from Rs. 6.48 per liter to Rs 4.48 per liter. High
speed diesel oil decreases from Rs. 8.33 per liter to Rs 6.33 per liter.
This Budget is not making middle class happier.
