TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu on his Birthday started hunger strike
Vijayawada sources reported that as AP CM Chandrababu Naidu turns 68 today, CM and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Chandrababu Naidu is observing a day long hunger strike to protest the "centre's non-cooperation in granting special status to Andhra Pradesh".
According to sources at a meeting in Guntur
district last week reported that the hunger strike comes weeks after the TDP
chief pulled the plug on the NDA alliance, Mr. Naidu said there would be no compromise
on the state's rights. Meanwhile he also announced that a massive public
meeting would be organized at Tirupathi on April 30 with the slogan "save
the state from betrayal and conspiracy".

Banerjee, YS Jagan, President and many greeted him on his birthday today. Further
report added Chandrababu Naidu launched the "Dharma Porata
Deeksha" hunger strike at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada at
7 a.m and moreover the fast will conclude at 7 p.m.
