Exclusive : Day-3 Jagan condition semi-alarming
The health of YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is staging an indefinite fast in Chanchalguda jail is said to be stable on third day . The health bulletin of Jagan on Tuesday evening says Jagan lost 1.5 kgs but his BP, blood sugar and cholestrol levels were within safe zone. ' He may have sugar and ECG issues tomorrow if does not take more liquids ' says the Jail doctors .
However there has been a steep rise in the number of supporters thronging the jail premises ever since Jagan began his fast three days ago. The YSRCP chiefs indefinite hunger strike is aimed to protest Centre's unilateral decision in bifircation without addressing the concerns of social justice for the Seemandhra people.YSRCP activists and Jagan's supporters in large numbers turned up at the Chanchalaguda jail to express solidarity with their leader.
With support pouring in, the security at the jail premises has been tightened. Police arrested as many 150 supporters of Jagan today for protesting near the jail.DGP Dinesh Reddy held a special review meeting on security with the Home Secretary and others in Se cretariat and a special report was sent to Delhi and the CMO also this evening .'Condition of Jagan is not critical but semi-alarming ' said the report in its nut shell. It is learnt that police requested Jagan to have food which he politely refused.
