Dussehra special Flights for Foreign Tourists

According to sources a special aircraft will soon connect Bengaluru and Mysuru so that foreign tourists can witness the famous Mysuru Dasara this year at lower prices and the ticket prices for the flight will start from Rs. 999. Meanwhile the 50 minute flight will serve as an alternative to the congested Mysuru-Bengaluru highway for visitors who wish to witness the Mysuru Dussehra celebrations.

As per report the flight will be operational from October 10 to 19 and will be launched by Karnataka's Department of Tourism, along with the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC). Meanwhile this comes after a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by KSTDC with Alliance Air, a subsidy of Air India, to operate the flight to and from Mysuru connecting Bengaluru and the flight will depart from Bengaluru every day except Tuesday at 2:10 pm and arrive in Mysuru at 3 pm.

Moreover the Alliance Air flight will take off from Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) instead of the HAL airport. Hence the flight tickets will be available at different price brackets: Rs 1,200; Rs 1,500; Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,100 and moreover the tickets are available on all online websites. TruJet, another 72-seater flight, is currently operating Mysuru-Chennai-Hyderabad flight starting with the base price of Rs. 999. Further the price is expected to go up during the Dussehra season.
