4 Promises Chandrababu Naidu fulfilled!

Telangana was carved out of United Andhra Pradesh way back in 2014, and it was then that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu had vowed to develop the state with his welfare plans and activities to transform it on par with nations like Singapore. The sole reason he had joined hands initially with the biased central government headed by BJP leader Narendra Modi, was his belief that the alliance could help state development. 


However, right from the special category status betrayal, he realised there was no use in the alliance, and quit the team. In the 5 years of his tenure on throne, Chandrababu Naidu had strived hard to fulfill numerous promises he had made.  Let's take a look at 4 Promises CBN fulfilled.


a) Waiver of crop loan:

The first signature made by Chandrababu Naidu after taking charge was the waiver of crop loans, as he utilised the help of central government to waive off 25000 crores worth loans. More than 85% of loans below 5000 INR taken by farmers were taken care by government and around 5000 crores were allocated for implementing this. 


b) Free power to farmers:


In a 7000 crore estimated plan, Chandrababu Naidu had fulfilled his promise of free power to farmers. The government had offered nine hours of free power supply for the farmers, which was earlier at 7 hours. 100 free units of power were also given to Dalits.


c) Polavaram project plan:

One key promise made by Chandrababu Naidu was the construction of Polavaram dam over Godavari, and since the central government wasn't Helping the state much in this regard, after the alliance broke, Chandrababu lead state government had been working at a huge speed and a cost of  around 8500 crores to complete the project which will help farmers.


d) Pension plan implementation:

Chandrababu Naidu had also promised pension schemes for the welfare of people with physical challenges, aged senior citizens and for widows. His promise was also fulfilled as more than 30000 crores of funds were allocated as the budget for implementing various pension scheme plans for women, handicapped, elderly people. 

These are some of the samples fulfilled promises that make Chandrababu Naidu an ideal chief minister who can lead the State to development with People's welfare ensured.
