Hyderabad Airport stands No-8 in World's Best Airports
hyderabad sources reported that the rajiv gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in hyderabad has added another feather in its cap with the airport ranked as one of the top 10 airports in the world according to a survey. Meanwhile in a survey by AirHelp, a company which deals with the rights of air passengers, Hamad International Airport in Doha in qatar is ranked first followed by a Tokyo airport and Athens International Airport in greece.
Furthermore hyderabad airport scored 8.27 on 10. It is followed by Tenerife North Airport in spain. However, kuwait International Airport and Lisbon Portela Airport in portugal stood at last. Hence this is not the first award that RGIA has received. hyderabad airport in 2017, secured first position in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) passengers' survey in the 5-15 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category for the year 2016.
Moreover it also had the honor to be the first airport in india to have been awarded by Airports Council International (ACI), headquartered at canada's Montreal. Hence along with this, it became the first airport in Asia Pacific in its category to become carbon neutral in 2017.
