According to report normal life has been severely affected in hyderabad and parts of Telangana as the sweltering heat has forced people to stay indoors. Earlier on Tuesday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that hyderabad sizzled at 43.3 degrees. Furthermore Adilabad district saw the highest temperature in the state, as mercury hit 46.3 degree Celsius, while other parts of the state like Nizamabad and Nalgonda saw an average maximum temperature of 45.9 and 45.5 degree Celsius respectively.


Further Hanmakonda also saw the temperature shoot up to 45 degrees, a deviation of 3.3 degrees from normal, while Khamamm and Medak witnessed a maximum temperature of 44.6 degree Celsius. Meanwhile the IMD has issued a warning till 8:30 am on May 31, stating that heart wave conditions were very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in all the districts of Telangana. Apparently with hot winds blowing across the state, the streets in the city are wearing a deserted look, especially in the afternoons.



Weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather reported “These activities will be in the wake of a semi-permanent trough which is extending from Vidarbha till the Comorin area. During day, the temperatures will be high, and this heat would act as a trigger and breakdown in the form of thundershowers”.
