Tejapl second rape, says Arundhati Roy
Tarun Tejpal, the flamboyant and glamour honcho editor of Tehelka flock has emerged as the whipping bag of the intellectual, activist and journalist community. Arundhati Roy, famed writer and feminist campaigner has termed the sexual assault of Tejpal as a ' second rape'. '
His first assault is values and principles that Tehelka lofted and all those who supported him are ashamed now ' says Arundhati. We all know that Tarun Tejpal has been charged of sexual assault of his own editorial assistant at Goa hotel. Since the Goa police ( where BJP is in power)has filed an FIR, Tejpal has approached Delhi high court for anticipatory bail.
The Tehelka editor who had also links with the land mafia don of Jana harshita group in Hyderabad.His sting operation on BJP led NDA govt had led to jail term for Bangaru Lakshman,the first BJP president from south . Bangaru Lakshman told APherald.com that Tejpal used prostitutes to trap army officers on his sting operations.
