In its judgment, the delhi High court ruled that a husband's request for his wife to contribute to household tasks is a legitimate aspect of marriage and does not constitute cruelty. The court underscored the importance of shared responsibilities between spouses in a marital relationship.
Additionally, the court criticized the wife's insistence on the husband abandoning his elderly parents, emphasizing the son's responsibility to care for family members in need. The ruling, delivered by Justice suresh Kumar Kaith, reinforces the notion that mutual responsibilities and cooperation are integral components of a marital bond.
