The telugu desam party (TDP) has recently announced candidates for 34 assembly constituencies as part of the second phase, adding to the previously announced 94 candidates. Notably, in 19 constituencies of the joint east godavari district, 15 candidates from the alliance have already been confirmed. This leaves four positions open, sparking curiosity regarding the potential candidates, particularly Pawan Kalyan's role.

Chandrababu Naidu, the tdp leader, had previously announced nine candidates in the first phase. However, in Gannavaram, there seems to be a complication, leading to speculation that bjp candidate Ayyaji Vema may contest from there. Additionally, three more candidates from the joint east godavari district were announced in the recent list.

The remaining constituencies like Rajolu, Rajanagaram, kakinada City, kakinada Rural, pithapuram, Amalapuram, and rampachodavaram have candidates from various parties. Notably, janasena is fielding candidates in Rajolu, Rajanagaram, and kakinada Rural.

Among the remaining constituencies in the joint Turupugodavari region, only kakinada City, pithapuram, Amalapuram, and rampachodavaram are yet to have confirmed candidates. Among these, kakinada City and pithapuram are of particular interest as potential constituencies for pawan kalyan to contest from, considering the political dynamics and demographics.

As the election scene unfolds, the competition in these constituencies, especially where pawan kalyan may potentially contest, adds an intriguing dimension to the political landscape of the joint east godavari district.
