Pakistani artist unveiled World's Largest Holy Quran!!!
A portion of the world's largest Quran was unveiled at the dubai Expo 2020 of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this, there was a huge enthusiasm among the people to see the rare artifacts. Pakistan's Commerce minister Abdul Razzaq Dawood inaugurated the artwork along with senior expo officials and diplomats, including Pakistani Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Afzal Mahmood. It is being prepared by Pakistani artist shahid Rasam.
Regarding this project, rasam said that this artwork is unique and brand new in various aspects, he said that for the first time in Islamic history aluminum and gold plated words have been used in art. He also expressed that it has taken a long time of four months to complete this work. He stated that 15 kg of aluminum and over 1 kg of gold have been used to sculpt Surah al-Rahman.
According to the information, this canvas is 8.5 feet (2.6 meters) long and 6.5 feet (2 meters) wide. Artist rasam, who lives in Karachi, pakistan, said, “Our work is inspired by Turkish, Arabic, and Iranian art. This Quran will be 550 pages with 77,430 words.
