VHP asserts that Hindu community ought to take ownership...?

The issue of adding animal fat to tirupati temple's prasadam laddu is gaining momentum. Many political parties have expressed anger on this issue. Meanwhile, vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has made a big demand on friday (September 20). VHP has said that the alleged use of animal fat in tirupati temple's laddu is intolerable. The andhra pradesh government has been asked by the VHP to turn over management and control of the temple to the Hindu community.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad raised this demand

VHP's international General Secretary Bajrang Bagda also demanded to free all temples and other Hindu shrines across the country from government control. He demanded legal action against those allegedly involved in desecrating the prasadam of tirupati temple. In a video statement, he stated, "The tirupati tragedy reinforces the vishwa Hindu Parishad's belief that political intervention results from government control over temples. The appointment of non-Hindu officials there (in government-controlled temples) leads to such deliberate defilement of prasad." Bajrang Bagda said that VHP has been demanding for a long time that Hindu temples and other religious places should not be under government control. He remarked that the whole Hindu community is upset and offended by the claimed usage of pig fat in tirupati Laddu Prasadam, calling it an unpleasant and repulsive act. Bajrang Bagda said that Hindu society will not tolerate such repeated attacks on its faith. This matter will be considered seriously Bajrang Bagda said, "We are confident that the andhra pradesh government and the central government will consider this issue seriously considering its seriousness." He demanded an impartial investigation into the tirupati Laddu desecration case and legal action against those involved in it. Vinod Bansal also made a big statement

Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the VHP, further urged that the government release tirupati temple and all other temples across the nation. "The government controls more than just the tirupati temple," he declared. He said, "Not only tirupati temple is under government control. More than four lakh temples in states across the country are under government control." When asked to comment on the issue, he told PTI-Bhasha, "Our stand on this issue is clear that governments should hand over temples and their property to Hindu society. The real trustees of temples are Hindus, not governments." Bansal said that VHP will soon launch a big campaign against government control over Hindu temples and other religious places.
