Is MS Dhoni capable to play IPL 2020 after 2019 World Cup?
Reportedly former bcci selector Roger Binny was full of praise for ms dhoni as captain but stated that he should start thinking about giving way to youngsters in the national team. Former india all-rounder Roger Binny feels ms dhoni is past his prime and should now start thinking about his future as an international cricketer. ms dhoni hasn't played any cricket since India's exit from the semifinals of the 2019 world cup on July 9. He hasn't spoken about his future since then but rumors of his impending retirement have been doing the rounds.
Some feel dhoni should continue as long as he can as india needs him in limited-overs cricket while the rest of the faction wants him to step aside and give way to youngsters like rishabh Pant. Binny, who was one of the five national selectors when dhoni was leading the indian team in 2012, is of the opinion that the former captain should assess whether he wants to continue playing or step aside.

He was a very down-to-earth person and had a lot of respect and time for cricketers. He’d come and discuss with you and tell you what he wanted. “He was the man on the field and we had to give him what he wanted but he wouldn’t demand it. He’d speak with the Chairman and the selectors and we didn’t have any arguments or fights. It was excellent to work with him," Binny stated.
