BCCI is already prepping to conduct the rest of the IPL 2021 tournament by the September-October window in the UAE. The announcement was made official after a Special General Meeting among the officials which happened on May 29th. As per sources, the IPL 2021 edition is going to restart around september 16-20 and will end on october 9-10.
Then immediately, the upcoming t20 world cup carnival begins on october 18th and both the tournaments get enough time and space. bcci vice-president rajeev Shukla had confirmed that the second leg of the IPL 2021 will be hosted in the UAE. There are 31 matches remaining in the 14th season of the tournament.
As per reports spectators are likely to be allowed for the second phase of indian Premier League 2021, which will be played in the UAE. As most of the uae population has already been vaccinated, the cricket board is not having any issues with spectators entering the stadiums. A uae Board Official said, "The vaccinated fans can be allowed up to 50 percent of the [stadium] capacity." This is indeed good news and fans can rejoice at the matches inside the stadium itself.
