After all the bio-bubble, Isolation, Corona spread, and several troubles, the ODI series between india and Srilanka began on a perfect Sunday. Shikar dhawan captained a very young side and before the start of the match both ishan kishan and surya Kumar Yadav were given their ODI caps as both of them were making their international debuts as well.

Dhawan lost the toss and sri lanka opted to bat first and after a very polite start they had a flurry of runs towards the end and they raised their total to 262/9 in the completed 50 overs. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar struggled with his line and length and as he erred he went for more than 6 runs per over and he was the worst of all bowlers in the lot. Then india came to chase and prithvi shaw who is in some dangerous form continued the same with bat and he scored a quick 43 runs and ensured india scored 90+ in the Power Play.

Then came Ishan who bludgeons a Six on his debut and then he continued the flow of runs and then there is no turning back for him as well and he registered his maiden fifty on his debut itself. At the same time, dhawan stayed not out with an unbeaten 86 runs of 95 balls and he ensured the team goes past the total without any hiccups and the team chased 263 runs in just 36.4 overs itself.
