Comedy of Errors in delhi Match..! Happy Fans..!
In the 64th league match of the IPL, delhi and punjab played a multi-match series. Thus, at the end of 20 overs, the delhi team scored only 159 runs. punjab set a target of 160 for victory. Baristo was dismissed for 28 off 15 balls. Following this, Banuka Rajapaksa and shikhar dhawan played. Both, however, played with little tension.
Then a comedy happened in the 4.4th over. Lalit Yadav ran to catch the ball to hit Dhawan. But dhawan ran to the opposite end. Rajapaksa did not notice dhawan coming and only saw where the ball had gone.
By then, dhawan was expected to be out for sure. That's when a twist occurred. Lalit Yadav threw the ball to rishabh pant who did not catch it. Taking advantage of this, Rajapaksa ran back.
Thus comedy of errors happened with both batsmen standing at the same end and yet they were not out. Fans loved the liveliness of the team players and enjoyed this funny incident. At last delhi Capitals team won the match by 17 runs defeating the punjab Team. This made punjab Team's entry into the play-offs difficult.
