However, NIT srinagar has issued a notice on this occasion that students should not watch the Asia Cup cricket match between india and pakistan in the group. Also, students have been told that students who break the rules can be fined up to Rs 5,000.

NIT instructs students to stay away from social media

In a notice issued by the Dean of students Welfare, the students have been asked to stay in their hostel rooms during the match. The notice said, 'Asia Cup cricket tournament is going on at dubai International Stadium. It is our instruction to all the students to take the game as a game. Do not indulge in any kind of indiscipline in the institute/hostel.

In the notice, the students have been asked not to go out on the campus or outside the campus on Sundays. All the students have been asked not to post matches related posts on social media. During the India-Pakistan match in the world cup last year, there was a tension-like situation on the campus.

Warning of fine up to Rs 5,000

In the notice issued by the institute, it has been said that for breaking the rules and indiscipline students can be fined up to 5,000. It has also been said that if students are found watching matches in a group, they can also be expelled from the hostel.
