Cricketer rishabh pant is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in dehradun following a serious car accident on Friday. The family said that rishabh pant had no time to rest as a large number of visitors, including legislators, ministers, officials, and actors, kept coming to see him. His family has expressed concern that people are coming to meet him regardless of the visiting hours given by the doctor. A member of the medical team looking after rishabh Pant's treatment said on sunday said that it is important that rishabh pant gets enough time to rest not only physically but also mentally. He is still in pain from the injuries sustained in the accident. Constantly talking to the audience will reduce his speedy recovery. Those planning to see him should avoid it for now. Let him rest, he said.
Another employee in the administration department of the hospital said that there is no mechanism to prevent a visitor from visiting Pant. The visiting hours at the hospital are 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 5 pm, and only one visitor can visit a patient at any time. rishabh Pant's case is very popular and because of this more visitors are coming in. So there is this problem, said the employee.
Actors anupam kher and Anil Kapoor, fellow cricketer Nitish Rana and kanpur MLA Umesh Kumar, and local administration officials also visited him in the ICU ward where he is undergoing treatment. A team of the delhi and district Cricket Association (DTCA), led by its director Shyam Sharma, met him on Saturday. Meanwhile, late on sunday, hospital sources said pant was shifted from the ICU to a private ward.
