The 7 players who were part of the World Cup-winning Australian team have set a base price of Rs 2 crore.
23 players have set a base price of Rs 2 crore in the IPL 2024 auction. This includes Travis Head, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, josh Inglis, josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, and Shaun abbott who played in the World Cup-winning Australian team. Along with them, many players from new zealand, South Africa, and england are participating in the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore.
Also, Afghanistan's Mujeeb and Bangladesh's Mustafizur rahman will also participate with a base price of Rs 2 crore. Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi has set a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. Australia's Travis Head and Mitchell Starc, who will participate in this year's IPL auction, did not participate in last year's IPL auction. indian players like Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, and umesh yadav will participate in the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. A total of 333 players will participate in this auction. 13 players are participating with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. Out of 333 players, 214 are indians and 119 are foreign players. Two of these players are from allied countries. A maximum of 77 seats are vacant. 30 seats are reserved for foreign players.

Kolkata Knight Riders have 12 spots to fill while chennai Super Kings, royal challengers Bangalore, lucknow Supergiants and Sunrisers hyderabad have 6 spots each.

Balance of IPL Teams:

Gujarat Titans are the highest-paid team ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. They have ₹38.15 crore remaining. It is followed by SRH (₹34 crore), kolkata Knight Riders (₹32.7 crore) and CSK (₹31.4 crore).
