IND vs SA: Was indian Team cheated..? DRS not available?
South African player David Miller was caught by the edge of Jadeja's bowling but the umpire did not give out. He refused to give. At that time, the review could not be heard due to a technical fault. The umpire and David Miller, who edged the ball, together prevented the indian team from getting a wicket. The ball is batted and edged but the batsman has at least a doubt as to whether the ball has been batted. But Miller remained silent and kept his wicket.
In the third t20 against South Africa, india batted first and scored 201 runs. Next, when the indian team bowled, the umpires said that the review would not work for only a few overs. Meanwhile, the South African team had lost 4 wickets. David Miller was the only key batsman in the cell. Then the fourth ball of the 9th over bowled by Jadeja was edged by David Miller and caught by the wicketkeeper. But the umpire on the field refused to give out. If india had asked for a review then they would have got that wicket.
However, due to a technical problem, the indian team was unable to ask for a review and lost the opportunity to take that important wicket. Even David Miller stood there as if he knew nothing even though the ball was edged. The worst thing about this is that the umpire announced that the technology to be reviewed from the next over is working again. india won this match by 106 runs even though they were cheated on that one wicket. Perhaps if it fails, this issue will explode. David Miller was scoring 18 runs during the incident. He was then dismissed for 35 runs.
