The indian team won the t20 world cup cricket series. bumrah has been outstanding in this series, taking 15 wickets and keeping an economy of just 4.17. With this, bumrah won the Man of the Series award. In this context, every month the ICC selects the best players and awards the player of the month. indian team captain rohit sharma, indian player bumrah, and Afghan player Rahmadullah Gurbaz competed in the best player competition for the month of June. In this context, bumrah, who was the main reason for the indian team to win the title, bowled just 18 runs in the final over and took two wickets. This earned bumrah the ICC Player of the Month for June. Commenting on this, bumrah said, "I am happy to receive the Player of the Month award for June.
