IOC member Mrs Nita Ambani led the ceremony held at the indian house in paris on tuesday to honour the valiant efforts of the indian athletes at the quadrennial in France.
Mrs Ambani, who has been at the forefront of the Olympic movement in india, cheered for the participants from the frontlines as she felicitated the brave indian athletes who represented the tricolour at the sporting spectacle.AVs of history-making shooters, double medallist manu Bhaker and Swapnil Kusale, were played on the big screen as Mrs Ambani congratulated the winners for bringing laurels to the nation.
Mrs Ambani also welcomed the other athletes, who missed out on finding a place on the podium at the olympics this time, to the stage to show how proud the nation is of their contributions and performances.

Mrs Ambani rallied for cries of ‘Go india Go’ as the audience resonated with the emotion. Chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ were heard from the crowd ahead of the national anthem played over the speakers as the house came to attention.Multiple indian athletes missed out on adding to the medal tally by agonising margins as Lakshya Sen, Maheshwari Chauhan, Anantjeet Singh, arjun Babuta, Dhiraj Bommadevar, Ankita Bhakat ended their respective events with fourth-place finishes.
