Manu Bhaker Responds to Online Trolling Over Olympic Medals
Indian shooting sensation manu Bhaker recently addressed online trolling regarding her decision to wear her Olympic medals to public events. After being informed about the comments during an interview with The Times of india, she responded emphatically, “I will, yeah! Why will I not?” This assertive reply was met with applause from the audience.
Manu explained that she often brings her medals due to requests from event organizers who wish to showcase her achievements. “Everyone has this feeling to show the medal, which is why I carry it in case someone wants to see it,” she stated. She noted that many organizers specifically ask her to bring the medal along for events, which results in numerous photos being taken.
Expressing her gratitude for the recognition, she said, “I’m always like ‘Why not? I should go.’ Before this, I never got a break to attend these events; I was always training.” manu emphadata-sized that her busy training schedule left little room for such engagements, and she now appreciates the love and support she receives.
At the 2024 paris Olympics, manu made history by becoming the first athlete from Independent india to win two medals in the same edition, securing a bronze in both the women’s 10-metre air pistol and the mixed team events alongside Sarabjot Singh.
