IOC: ioc orders cancellation of recognition of national boxing associations associated with IBA, know what was said

The ioc reiterated in a letter sent to the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) on september 30 that those national boxing associations that do not end their ties with the IBA will not be allowed to participate in the 2028 olympic games in Los Angeles.

The international Olympic Committee (IOC) has asked its member countries to end the recognition of national federations associated with the suspended international Boxing Association (IBA), which has further deepened the ongoing dispute between these two sports bodies.

The ioc reiterated in a letter sent to the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) on september 30 that those national boxing associations that do not end their ties with the IBA will not be allowed to participate in the 2028 olympic games in Los Angeles.

The ioc said in its letter that the NOC will no longer maintain affiliate or institutional ties with those national boxing federations that are still affiliated with the IBA. Any boxer whose national federation is affiliated with the IBA will not be able to participate in the Los Angeles Olympic Games. The concerned NOC will have to cancel the membership of such a national boxing federation. The ioc had also issued a similar directive in May.
