The matter is getting worse regarding the 2025 Champions Trophy. bcci has told ICC that Team india will not go to pakistan under any circumstances. Still, pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is adamant on organizing the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. However, bcci has offered a hybrid model, but pakistan is not agreeing to it.

According to a report published in a reputed newspaper of pakistan, PCB will clearly tell ICC that india and pakistan should not be kept in the same group for any ICC tournament including 2025 Champions Trophy in future. pakistan does not want to play against india until india agrees to tour Pakistan.

Earlier, there was news that PCB has written a letter to ICC, in which it is clearly stated that whether Team india plays in the tournament or not, but pakistan will not leave hosting the Champions Trophy under any circumstances. It is also being said in a report that bcci has not given any reason for sending its team across the data-border. Only after knowing the reason, PCB will consider finding a solution to this problem.

There was also news of pakistan losing the hosting rights

It was claimed in a report that if PCB rejects the offer of the hybrid model, then pakistan will lose the hosting rights of the 2025 Champions Trophy. In such a situation, the entire tournament will be held in South Africa. On the other hand, if PCB accepts the hybrid model, then Team india will play its matches in Dubai.

Champions Trophy to be played from 19 February

For your information, let us tell you that the 2025 Champions Trophy is to start from 19 February. At the same time, its final match is to be played on 9 March. The full schedule of the tournament has not been announced yet, but PCB has sent the draft schedule to the ICC.
