Four Athletes Receive Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award
Four Athletes which includes Olympic silver medallist P.V. Sindhu, gymnast Dipa Karmakar, shooter Jitu Rai and Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi got their Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award from President Pranab Mukherjee few minutes back. Mr.Pranab presented the awards at Sports award ceremony in New Delhi.
15 Sports persons were honoured with Arjuna Award and three with Dhyan Chand award. Punjabi University of Patiala was awarded the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy 2015-16.
It has to be noted that, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and the Arjuna Award was headed by Justice S.K. Agarwal, retired Delhi High Court Judge. Well, take a look at the complete winners below,
