Tamil Nadu should take this as an Example says Kamal Haasan

For the past two years, India's petrol and diesel prices have been steadily climbing. As the price of a litre approaches Rs 100, motorists and the general population continue to suffer. There are two types of concepts that are continuously addressed. One is the tax burden imposed by the GST.
On the one side, opposition parties have accused the federal government for not caring about the people, and the GST tax on gasoline and diesel prices on the other. The central government denied this, blaming it on the state government. Following this, many people began to suggest that the state government may consider lowering the GST levy. The DMK also announced a cut in petrol prices of Rs 3 per litre in their statement.
Meanwhile, jharkhand Chief minister Hemant Soren has announced that petrol rates for two-wheelers will be slashed by Rs 25 per litre on his social media page. "The Makkal Needhi Maiam party is urging the DMK government to reduce petrol and diesel prices in tamil Nadu as well, following the example of the jharkhand government, which has reduced petrol prices for two-wheelers by up to 25 rupees as per the election promise," kamal haasan said on his social media account.
