According to twitter, HBO Max's smash drama Euphoria is currently the most-tweeted about show of the decade. sam Levinson (son of famed director Barry Levinson) conceived and wrote the teen drama series Euphoria, which stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and Storm Reid. The show is a loose remake of the Israeli sitcom of the same name, which aired in the 1990s and followed a gang of 17-year-olds obsessed with sex, narcotics, and drama.

Euphoria's first season featured eight episodes, with two hour-long specials airing between seasons 1 and 2. Zendaya earned an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Primetime Drama Series for her role in the first season of the programme, which was mainly well-received by critics and fans, with some criticism over the show's excessive sex, nudity, drug use, and absurd behaviour. Season 2 of Euphoria has also been a major smash for HBO Max, and it now looks that one social media site may have had a role in that.

According to twitter (via Variety), Euphoria is now the "most-tweeted about tv show of the decade in the United States," with over 30 million tweets about the show during its second season. That's a 51% rise over the first season of Euphoria, demonstrating the show's incredible growth in both viewership and social involvement. Jenna Ross, the head of Twitter's tv partnerships, released a statement that explains why Euphoria has become so well-known.
