Marvel has released a new Ms. Marvel poster, which shows the character in her Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero suit for the first time. Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen living in jersey City who is infatuated with superhero culture and the world's many heroes, including Captain Marvel. As she struggles to make her way through high school, Kamala discovers mystical bangles that grant her the capacity to channel cosmic energy and set her on the path to becoming her own hero.
The MCU series was first announced in 2019 when Marvel Studios greenlit it alongside a number of other projects, after working for several years to bring the character to life on screen, with plans to release following the Captain Marvel film. With Ms. Marvel's production wrapping up in May and the current MCU series moon Knight halfway through its run, the studio behind the shows is hoping to keep fans excited for the future.
Marvel has published a new Ms. Marvel poster with just over a month till the show's premiere. The key image shows the main heroine's MCU suit for the first time, as well as the different people in her life that are dear to her, including her best buddy Bruno. Ms. Marvel's marketing has wonderfully built up to showing off more of the eponymous heroine's MCU suit, with the first teaser released during Disney+ Day delivering brief views of her persona and powers, including her homemade one inspired by her love of Captain Marvel.
