House of the Dragon Ep 4 Review: Matt Smith and Milly Alcock shine
Daemon's (Smith) return to King's Landing and the perilous intentions he is about to carry out are the main topics of the fourth episode of the show, king of the Narrow Sea. Princess Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) is currently data-faced with the difficult challenge of finding a suitor who is neither older than her father nor a lad who has not yet reached puberty. The Princess is in a tighter spot as king Viscerys' (Paddy Considine) council continues to push the idea of her marriage to Laenor Velaryon in her yet another futile attempt to find a match that will improve her family's prestige and her seat on the iron Throne (John Macmillan).
Without giving anything away, the fourth episode of the show embraces peak Game of Thrones-level drama this time around as scandalous situations occur and they are all the result of the dishonest intentions of those involved. This episode has a lot more scary content to give, therefore it doesn't need deaths and blood to add some shock value for its viewers. The episode's climax is also very powerful, and this is possibly when the real game starts. Rhaenyra (Alcock), Daemon (Smith), and king Viscerys (Considine) are the main characters in this episode, and all three Targaryens promise to surprise you in unexpected ways.
