'Bigg Boss 16' fame Abdu Rozik got engaged to an Emirati girl this year and soon got married. But a few months after the engagement, he broke off the relationship. Abdu told that his engagement broke off due to cultural differences. At the same time, now he has revealed how the trolling he data-faced after the engagement had a negative impact on their relationship.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Abdu Rozik said- 'Amira took this decision with great difficulty. One of the most difficult parts for her was the constant trolling that we had to data-face after the announcement of our engagement. This had a profound effect on her mental health.'
'Negativity ate away our relationship...'
Abdu further said- 'As much as I wanted to protect her from this, it became clear that this negativity was eating away our relationship. Right now both of us are trying to give each other space to recover emotionally. Talking about breaking the engagement, Abdu said- When I first realized that the wedding would have to be cancelled, there was sadness, disappointment and even a sense of failure.'
This lesson was learned from the relationship
The 'Bigg Boss 16' fame singer said- 'It is never easy to accept that what you are planning, dreaming and working for will not be fulfilled'. Abdu said that from all this he learned that it is important to know that values, cultural rituals and expectations are data-aligned before committing to marriage.
