5G Revolution; New IT Parks in Kannur, Kollam!!

Thiruvananthapuram: In the budget presentation (Kerala Budget 2022), Finance minister KN Balagopal said that the 5g revolution will be encouraged. The 5g service launched in the country this year will make a difference in kerala as well. kerala will be at the forefront of the use of 5g technology. For this, the corridors of the 5g leadership package have been announced. Four new IT corridors will be set up in the state. The Finance minister also announced a 5g leadership package in the IT corridors in the state budget.

The finance minister told the assembly that construction would begin soon after the land was acquired. The minister said that the Work Near home project will be promoted. I set apart `50 crore for the project. He added that the scheme would help employ educated housewives to secure employment.


Balagopal said four science parks would be set up in the state. Science parks will be set up at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore. Budget proposal for radical change in higher education. An amount of `200 crore has been set apart for improving the functioning of universities. An amount of `20 crore will be set apart for short term courses, said KN Balagopal.
