He said- The main reason for this is the state-of-the-art technology, artificial intelligence and data science available there. It is used to improve the performance of the players. The team at IIT madras is now working to make all this easily available to our players in india as well.

The team of Analytics Center working for these three purposes

Professor Mahesh Panchagnula said that the team of Analytics Center, IIT madras is working with three objectives. The first objective is to arrange such a training program for the athlete, in which he can easily identify his ability through technique and overcome the shortcomings. The second objective is to enhance the performance of the athlete through science and AI.

A model is being prepared for this, which will be ready within the coming six months to a year. Apart from this, new start-ups have to be promoted for new technology related to sports and to create such an ecosystem, so that this technology is affordable and accessible to the common people.
