In order to reduce costs and improve liquidity as a result of a funding delay, Byju's, an edtech startup, is said to have left its largest office space in Bengaluru. Additionally, it has given up a piece of another office block in the same city.

Including the 5.58 lakh square foot property in kalyani Tech Park that has been vacated, Byju's reportedly owns three office buildings in Bengaluru. At least six workers verified to the news site that they will be required to work remotely or from home beginning on July 23. The staff have been notified that the corporation has also given up two of the nine floors it previously occupied in Prestige Tech Park.

According to a Byju's representative, the company has over 3 million square feet of rented space spread out across the nation to fulfil its needs. According to the quotation, "Changes in working procedures and corporate priorities, which occur frequently and are aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies, are the basis for both office space expansion and decrease.

In june of last year, Byju's leased two structures—Magnolia and Ebony—in Brookfield's kalyani Tech Park. It moved personnel to Ebony last month after leaving Magnolia. According to the employees' testimonies, they have been requested to work from Prestige Tech Park and the main office on Baneghatta Main Road.
